Charging Time

Charging is done very slowly with a low controlled current to ensure the highest quality (smallest nano-particle size). Particle size is directly dependent on current density which must be maintained appropriately to that particular electrode size and metal, such as copper, gold, zinc, magnesium, tin, platinum, titanium, etc.

We find that the production rate with large 2” x 6” electrodes in a 5-liter container rate is about 1 ppm per hour so that you can have 24 ppm in 24 hours, or 48 ppm in 48 hours. Charging the water any faster will give large ineffective particles.  With a 1-liter container, ppm rises at a rate of 5 ppm per hour for 2” x 6” electrodes.  PPM will not rise much above 50 ppm even after many days of charging.
