Colloidal Silver (CS) is still made by many suppliers rapidly, in a few minutes, using a primitive method of over-driving silver electrodes. This results in the formation of ions and unnecessarily large nanoparticles (greater than 20-50 nanometres).
However, Biophysica’s generator produced is an advanced form of Colloidal Silver that resulted from over 20 years of research. COLLOIDAL SILVER is made from pure, chlorine-free water, electrically charged (Zeta Potential) so as to alter the structure of the molecules of the water. We use large solid sheet electrodes of silver and gold and pass very weak electrical signals and high frequencies slowly through the water over 24-48 hours charging period.
Produced to the highest quality, our Biophysica COLLOIDAL SILVER (BCS) cannot be compared to crude Colloidal Silver as sold worldwide. BCS COLLOIDAL SILVER typically contains only trace concentrations of up to 50 ppm of Silver (or .05 parts per thousand). To illustrate how little this is, commercial water labeled as “Sodium-Free” actually has 10 ppm of Sodium.
Elemental atomic silver does not accumulate in the body as it is all too rapidly excreted by the action of the liver and spleen.
