Is Silver Nutritional

It has been well established by nutritional scientists that the metallic elements are essential for our well-being and maintenance of body systems: Zinc, Copper, Iron, Tin, Calcium, Sodium, Silver, Potassium, Magnesium, Manganese, Molybdenum, Chromium, and Boron, as well as other rarer elements like Selenium, Germanium, Vanadium, Platinum, Silver, and Gold, Titanium, Rhodium, and Iridium. Without essential minerals, our ability to resist disease is seriously compromised. Like many other minerals, they have always been present in our food, but in diminishing amounts over recent decades. For each element, there is a minimum daily requirement. In the case of Silver, Selenium, Chromium, Iodine, and Molybdenum, this is around 100 micrograms (0.1 milligrams). For Zinc and Germanium, it is 100 milligrams. For Magnesium, it is 350 mg (see “Brain Longevity” by Dr. D.S. Khalsa).
